A showcase of our beautiful celebrations, wedding planning advice, and business tips for creative entrepreneurs.
For this Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion Wedding inspiration, we wanted to put a fresh spin on the classic black-and-white wedding for the bride who still wants an organic, ethereal style. Specifically, we wanted to show brides a way to use black and still have a soft, beautiful, and ethereal look, rather than formal and stuffy.
There are only so many hours in a day, and chances are if you’re new to the entrepreneur world, you’re wearing a lot of different hats in your business, trying to keep up with multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
While I don’t necessarily consider myself a very tech-savvy person, I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find the right tools and systems that would allow my business to continue working for me without me being in it all the time. If there is one thing I’ve learned over the past years of building my business and creating a seamless client experience, it’s that automation is key.
Do you struggle with productivity? Are you a business owner managing your business and household at the same time? You’re not alone. I know first hand how difficult it is to balance work and life especially if you’re a working mom.
The number one thing I hear from small business owners (and people in general, really) is they wish they had more time. Time is our most precious gift – it’s truly something we can’t make more of.
Part 2 of the “Booking the Right Wedding Vendors” mini-series is in! Check out Part 1, which covers tips to choosing your dream wedding venue, here. Like with considering different venue options, there is a lot of decision-making involved with choosing a wedding photographer. And trust me, this is not something you want to mess around with!
Whoever you decide to hire has the very important responsibility of capturing one of the most significant moments of your life, so it’s not a coincidence in the Wedding Planning Checklist I created (you can find it here to help you prioritize your to-dos after you get engaged).
As a wedding planner, I get a lot of questions from clients about how to hire the right photographer, choose a venue that is within budget, select menus, and so on. I get it. There are seriously A LOT of details that go into wedding planning and if you’re not intentional and wise in your decision-making, you may find your budget stretched a little too thin or experience some not so pleasant situations on your BIG day.
