We have taken a long break from blogging to focus on all of our events this summer! But we have a special extra long post and I could not be more excited to get back in to the routine of blogging with this colorful, fun wedding! Preya and Adi’s Indianapolis Indian wedding is very near and dear to my heart! The relationships I built with this family are truly priceless. I loved spending time with Preya, her family, and working out every single detail that would be executed on her wedding day, down to the very last dance.
Four events in three days, made for one big challenge and I was ready to rise to the occasion! All of the planning meetings and countless hours of conference calls and emailing were totally worth it! Their wedding was a beautiful reflection of these two lovebirds who have been best friends since summer camp when they met as teenagers! I mean, seriously… How adorable is it that they can say “I married my best friend, and we met at Summer Camp”. My heart just melted…
My favorite moment from this day was when Preya and Adi did their first look! Adi was blown away at how amazing Preya looked – and who can blame him!?! She was absolutely beautiful! The gift exchange was also fun, because Preya had no idea it was hand delivered from Adi until she saw the same-day edit video at the reception. Her reaction was adorable! All of the speeches were filled with so much love and excitement for these two to start their new life together, it was hard not to shed a tear. And then… the moment came for Preya to walk down the aisle and her Uncle (who said he couldn’t be there because of a delay at the Embassy in India) surprised her to walk her down the aisle. I lost it. The tears came streaming down my face – just like they are now as I am typing this!
