This was our first Macedonian wedding! And let me just say, it was SO much fun! Christie and Tyler’s Union Station wedding was a perfect blend of her Macedonian traditions and their fun personalities! Christie is one of 3 girls and the first to get married, and it was an absolute joy to have her sisters along to help out! From bridesmaids dress shopping, to planning the sweetest bridal shower at the Cake Bake Shop, Christie’s sisters did an amazing job at their Maid of Honor duties!
That’s one part of planning weddings that I just love. I really enjoy getting to know the families of the couples that we’re working with. We get to see these families in such an intimate environment, and we consider that such an honor! One of my favorite moments of Christie and Tyler’s day was when she came down the stairs to do her first look with her dad. He had not been feeling well that day, and his face just lit up as soon as he saw her! It was the sweetest moment and mom, and both sisters were there to watch. I was also amazed at how well Tyler knew all the Macedonian dance moves! They had several dances with some very fancy footwork and he absolutely nailed it!
Christie’s wedding details were some of my absolute favorite! From getting ready at her family home, to twirling the dance floor in her fully beaded Allure bridal gown, she put so much thought and personality into every detail. The bridesmaids dresses, the florals, the custom invitations, all came together magically to make her day so special!
