I absolutely adore this family! Alyssa’s mom came to me a few months before the wedding to ensure they had everything perfect for her little girl’s big day!  They already had an amazing vendor team together, but she wanted to be able to relax and soak in the special moments and details of her daughter’s wedding day.  So we stepped in to help bring this Glamorous Gatsby wedding to life!

Alyssa and Kahlil got married at one of my favorite venues in Indianapolis – Laurel Hall!  This historic estate dates all the way back to 1916 making it the perfect setting for Alyssa and Kahlil’s Gatsby wedding. The grand terrace and the historic architecture makes you feel like you have jumped right into the pages of  F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel.  Every detail was carefully thought through, all the way down to the type of paper that was used for the menus and table numbers.

This was by far one of my favorite wedding designs. Gatsby style is all about glitz, glamour, and opulence and Isibeal Studio did an amazing job incorporating these characteristics in the most subtle and elegant ways. Lavender, gray, pink, and soft peach complimented the purple and gold wedding colors perfectly.  The blush satin table linens from BBJ Linen were dressed up with gold china from A Classic Party Rental and luscious floral arrangements including orchids and succulents.  Each place setting was set with a menu card and a sprig of lavender giving the room a fresh, relaxing aroma.
